Always on the move

I am from South Africa. My husband and I were involved in some burglaries that were violent in nature and we decided to move to the UK where we both have family. My husband was very ill and stayed behind until I had set up a home. Unfortunately his son was involved in a shooting incident and sustained injuries but my husband who was staying with him could not withstand the strain and had a massive heart attack. I feel like I am still waiting for him to arrive and am finding it difficult to come to terms with what has happened. That was 18 months ago. My hope is that I can find a way to making friends who understand the pain of this loss without having to explain it all.

Hi Liz

I am so sorry for all you have been through

I totally get how you can not fully accept it. I have no words but do know that only those who have been through a loss like this are the only ones who understand xx
