Hi I'm 73 from Tavistock in Devon, originally from London. I lost my darling husband Gareth in August 2022 so 3 years for me now. Miss him desperately. I have found some support from various Submariners groups, of which he was one, and they have been very kind to me. I have 3 sisters never hear from two of them and very intermittently from the third. Last Christmas I was on my own which isn't a problem for me, but I had not so much as a text message from any of them. I work in a school for children with special needs so that keeps me occupied at least during the week. We had no children.

Hi Jasmin, wow three years, it has been 9 weeks for me, impressed you work, good on you, can i ask what else you do to fill the time. I am 60, live in Wales , i have a daughter who lives about 30 minutes away. Sorry to hear about your sisters, have you good neighbours? maybe you could this Christmas with one of them, take care
