Chapter 2?

I live in a very remote place, literally in the middle of nowhere. I signed up for Chapter 2. I am not sure that was a good decision. Women that "like" my profile are all younger than me. They have jobs and responsibilities. They are not free to travel, see the world, or work on their "Bucket List".

Then there are the scammers and fake profiles. What a joke. One "person" tried using a photo image of a stolen passport. I sent that one to a Friend at the FBI.

All in all, losing my wife to Alzheimer's has been a lot tougher than I ever could anticipate. Anyone else want to share experiences with online dating?

I can't offer too much uplifting because I agree with the fake profiles. They are so frustrating. I only get responses from men much younger looking to be taken care of or an obvious scammer. I wish there was a 50+ and/or widowers speed dating event to meet people in person with no pressure, but I am also in a pretty rural area so that's not an option. It's hard enough to get to the point that we're open to meeting new people then running into scammers sort of ruins the momentum for me.
