Solo Cruising
Hi, I'm Nicky the founder of The Widowed Collective and I know just how daunting the idea of solo travel or solo travel with kids can be. I wnated to share my experiences, I recently took two solo cruises (completely alone as my son is now 17) which were a fabulous experience. I cruised with NCL in the Caribbean, they offer a fabulous solo experience with solo cabins (at no supplement) a solos lounge and solos meet ups each night to meet other solo travellers and have dinner with if you like. I've made some great new friends while on board (and even had a holiday romance!) I highly recommend!! Any questions or advice just ask.. Hi Nicky I have travelled solo for a good few years even before my husband died as he was too ill to travel and he wanted me to continuing travelling. I love my cruises I go with Marella they have guest experience coordinators who arrange meet ups for drinks in an evening then you can go to dinner as a group if you wish. There is no obligation and can dip in and out as you please. Have met some lovely people some I’m still in touch with.
